Meet in Terlingua, TX for an unforgettable weekend of hiking, camping, and sisterhood in Big Bend National Park!
April 27 – 30, 2023
Let’s go out into one of the most beautiful National Parks in the country and enjoy hiking, relaxing, and exploring in nature.
This trip will be all about camping, friendship, and hiking! If you have been wanting to dial in your camping or solo travel or hiking skills or if you want to be incredibly present in the physical and experiential aspect of hiking, challenge yourself to be able to see this incredible landscape with your own eyes, and connect with other women then let’s meet in Terlingua!
Registering includes:
$25 donation to Friends of Big Bend
$25 supplies fee for skills workshops
$25 supplies fee for community meals, snacks, and base camp needs
Cost for lodging reservation fees, park use fees, supplies, and personal belongings are the responsibility of each registrant. We are trying to keep this a very affordable trip and will be coordinating the group reservation, meal plans and community dinners, sharing of resources, a few skills clinics and workshops, etc.
We will meet in and base out of Terlingua – cabins, RV spots, tent camping? Which will you be at Terlingua Ranch?
General Flow for the Weekend:
Thursday – arrive and relax. Community dinner (who makes a mean campsite dessert??)

Friday – community breakfast and morning hike (3-4 hours), lunch on trail. Siesta/explore near campground, Community dinner.
Saturday – early breakfast, long hike day (5-6 hours), lunch on trail (bring extra snacks!), community dinner.
Sunday – Coffee and goodbyes.
